Course description:
This course introduces students to various aspects and models for e-business. It describes the basic principles of e-business technologies. Upon the completion of this course, students should have a good working knowledge of e-business concepts, applications and technologies. It examines the linkage of organizational strategy and electronic methods of delivering products, services and exchanges in inter-organizational, national, and global environments. Information technology strategy and technological solutions for enabling effective business processes within and between organizations in a global environment are considered. In the lab, students should practice the tools for developing commercial websites. At the end of the course, students should create, modify, enhance and publish an e-commerce web site.
