This is the final clinical course in pediatric dentistry. During the course, the students are required to provide comprehensive dental treatment for children a wide range of dental problems.
Course Aims:
This course aims to improve student’s skills to deal with comprehensive dental treatment for children.
Course outcomes:
After completing this clinical course, the students should be able to:
Perform the clinical procedures commonly rendered to the children.
Restore primary teeth using the different restorative materials.
Properly use the rubber dam for isolation during the dental procedure.
Perform different clinical procedures available for pulp therapy.
Know how to apply Space maintainer.
Restore premature permanent teeth using the different restorative materials.
