Course description:

This course complete to oral and dental anatomy (1). This course acquaints the student with morphologic components of the natural dentition including essential vocabulary and details of the anatomy of teeth and the relationship of anatomic structures to caries formation and tooth restoration.

Course Aims:

This course aims to improve the practical skills and reinforce scientific information relating to dental anatomy. This course aims to introduce students to the exact standards and basic anatomical features of posterior teeth.

Course outcomes:

After completing this course, students should be able to:
  • Distinguish between all teeth.
  • Draw the teeth (molars ) upper and lower.
  • Carve the teeth on the large volume of wax (molars) upper and lower.
  • Carve all teeth on the normal volume of tooth on wax block.
