Course description:

This course will afford the student the opportunity to develop competence in the scientific foundation of nutrition practice.This course is deals with up-to date and recent nutritional topics, metabolic processes which involve essential dietary components; methods of evaluatingnutrition status.

Course Aims:

  • Students will use critical, reflective and creative thinking skills in using the modern analysis worksheet whenevaluating current nutrition research.
  • Students will recognize the integration of scientific principles to the practice of nutrition.
  • Provide in depth understanding of nutritional science related topics in preparation of further studies.
  • Provide advance levels of knowledge , critical thinking and analysis of nutrition.
