Clinical Field Training (2) NUTR 4142

Course description:

This training helps students to visits different sections & departments working with patients suffering from chronic diseases related to nutrition, there will be field visits to see how doctors & nurses deals with these patients / clients practically.

Course Aims:

  • To identify the most common therapeutic diets used in clinical care.
  • To identify the various components of nutritional activities applied in therapeutic nutrition.
  • To develop skills in various components of course module and working with patients/clients.

Course outcomes:

Upon completion the course students should be able to:
  • Recommend a therapeutic diet to treat a specific clinical nutritional disorder.
  • Have the clinical skills to deal with the patients/clients. 
  • Managing various complications of diseases in the field of  therapeutic nutrition.
