Course description:

This course introduces basic principles of operations research with special emphasis on administrative aspects. The course also teaches the student how to calculate quantity data and use them as a major element in decision making process.

Course Aims:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Introduce basic principles of operations research with special emphasis on administrative aspects.
  • Comprehend how to calculate quantity data and enter them as a major element in decision making process.
  • Achieve maximum profit at the lowest cost possible.
  • Understand practical forecasting, linear program, integer Linear Program, non-linear program, dynamic program, goal Program, queuing models, simulations, network models and game theory.
