Course description:

This course emphasizes aspects of networking, Subnetting (VLSM) IP addressing and routing in implementing scalable and highly performance Cisco routers that are connected to LANs, WANs, IPv4 and IPv6.The headlines in the application of this course are applied on the program "Packet Tracer" .

Course Aims:

This course aims to enable the student to:
  • Plan and design a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches, supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree.
  • Troubleshoot IP connectivity (IPv4 and IPv6). -Static Routing.
  • Configure and troubleshoot RIPv1, RIPv2, EIGRP and OSPF (IPv4 and IPv6); -Dynamic Routing.

Course outcomes:

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:
  • Create Subnetting  IP address for network.
  • Implement Cisco IP Routing.
  • Implement Cisco IP Switched Networks.
  • Analyze and Design the network.
