Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Use the community nursing process in the community.
- Develop teaching plans appropriate to the health needs of individuals, families, groups and population.
- Collaborate with members of health team in performing screening programs for children, families and communities.
- Administer various types of available vaccines appropriately according to the vaccination schedule in Gaza.
- Follow up the growth and development pattern of a baby during a routine visit to the maternal child health clinic.
- Carry out a home visit whenever indicated considering the preparation phase of the visit.
- Use therapeutic, communication techniques with clients, families, and groups of varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
