Course description:

This is an introductory management course that stimulates the student to develop a valuable understanding of management practices and techniques. Where the emphasis of the course to allow the student to become familiar with different managerial concepts in terms of the management tasks that will be useful in many managerial fields.

Course Aims:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Understand the significance, role and professional nature of management.
  • Enrich knowledge with the latest development in management practices.
  • Strengthen the critical background to a number of courses in the program. 
  • Acquire the necessary academic background to prepare themselves for specialization in business management sciences.

Course outcomes:

By the successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  • Developing skills necessary to analyze management problems leading to the development of strategic and tactical plans consistent with analysis.
