Course description:

This course is designed to help students to improve their knowledge in managerial terms. It covers a wide range of functional areas including general business and specializations such as English for jobs, people and organizations, production, marketing, money, finance and the economy, ethics, wrong doing and corruption, personal skills, and culture. It also focuses on the language of skills needed in business, such as those for presentations, meetings, telephoning and negotiations. 

Course Aims:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • To expand the aptitude of understanding and grasping managerial terms in diverse areas of business.
  • To develop the students’ language skills within a business context.
  • To enhance strong communication skills and uses role-plays and case -examples to illustrate learning points and allow participants to practice business terms learned.

By the successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  • Students will gain a broad perspective on the managerial terms of business world today, while at the same time developing fluency in English.
