Course description:
This course is designed to cover all clinical disciplines in dentistry. This is a conjoint course by all dental departments where contributors from all dental disciplines participate in both the lectures and clinical sessions. Lectures are designed to cover a wide aspect of advanced dental topics related to comprehensive dental care.Clinical sessions are conducted to amalgamate the clinical experience gained by the students in previous clinical courses and provide them with excellent foundation for comprehensive patient care.
Course Aims:
The course aims to prepare the student to manage patient care and dental needs from comprehensive view by providing full mouth rehabilitation in all specialties of dentistry.
Course outcomes:
By the end of this course, the students should be able to:
- Diagnose conditions of the oral cavity and its related structures using proper diagnostic tools.
- Develop a comprehensive treatment plan for the prevention and treatment of oral conditions so that each patient can be maintained at, or restored to, a healthy and functioning aesthetic condition.
- Perform competently all preventive and therapeutic procedures which are expected to be performed by a general dentist
