Course description:

This is fundamental course discusses concepts in financial management, specifically those concerned about corporate finance. It combining in a practical way the insights of an experienced investment practitioner with a readable review of what the research evidence tells us. This is an essential course to conceptualize the market behavior and any investor pursuits to understand how behavioral finance can be used to enhance investment returns, and maximize shareholders wealth.

Course Aims:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Identify the financial management concepts and apply those concepts to various financial decisions.
  • Considering the relationship between risk and return.
  • Examine business operations; evaluate financial forecasting, and both of operational and financial leverage.
  • Apply the concepts of time value of money, valuations, and cost of capital in practice.
  • Analyze the methods of raising capital through debt, equity financing, bonds, or a combination of these methods.
